Richard G. Weaver, Ph.D.,combines extensive knowledge of organizational behavior with insightful observations and counsel for managers. He understands the personal side of people functioning in organizations as well as the technical requirements of national and international businesses. Richard has combined a unique educational background with practical work experience. His two masters degrees, a Masters in Counseling and a Masters in Business Administration, provided training in these two apparently divergent points of view. He combined these approaches in a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems. Richard has served as CEO of two non-profit organizations, Marketing Manager for a $10 billion firm, and then director of the same firm’s change management process.

He has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in management for nearly ten years, including a variety of courses in Organizational Behavior and Organizational Psychology. He is currently a lecturer on the faculty at the University of California-Irvine.
For fourteen years, Richard has been an independent consultant specializing in helping employees of firms work more effectively together. He has both used facilitation and trained individuals in facilitation as a tool to improve productivity. He has helped organizations create more effective teams, resolve conflicts, and plan more successfully. This client work has taken him throughout the United States as well as to Europe and the Middle East. His clients have included industries such as: automotive, oil and gas, computer hardware, software, telecommunications, and non-profits.
